Captain Anthony Fritz Maude

 

 

Anthony Fritz Maude, of Kilwarlin House, Hillsborough, Co. Down, was born on 4 August 1862, the eldest son of Maurice Ceely Maude of Lenaghan Park, Enniskillen, and Maria Elise Maude (nee Wehren). He married Eva Emily Beresford on 27 April 1895.

Maude was a captain in the North of Ireland Imperial Yeomanry from July 1903, and a founding officer of the North Irish Horse on its formation on 8 July 1908. He served with the regiment as a captain until May 1911.

He died in Northern Ireland on 7 June 1935.
